A Silly Speech-Language Pathology Misunderstanding [Free Download]

A few days ago, a good friend and colleague of mine told me a silly story. Her name is Laura and she was sitting in her favorite little coffee shop happily sipping on a hot cocoa (extra whipped cream please!). While she was typing away on her laptop, a woman sitting to her right politely said to her, “Wow, you sure are working hard.” Laura smiled and nodded.

“So, what do you do for a living?” asked Laura’s curious new friend.

She happily answered, “I’m a speech pathologist.”

The woman looked confused. Very confused.

“A what?” the woman blurted out while wearing a quizzical look on her face.

The conversation that ensued was absolutely comical (to say the least). In fact, it was so gee darn hilarious, I decided to create a comic about it.

Boy oh boy, misunderstandings sure are FUNNY!
