Writing Letters to Presidents and Prime Ministers in Speech Therapy

Writing Letters to Presidents and Prime Ministers in Speech Therapy

Think back to when you were a child in school. Did you have an educator that got you so excited for learning that you just couldn’t wait to start school in the morning? I know I did and BOY what I wouldn’t give to be one of those educators. An educator, where 10 or 15 or 20 years later, a student is still thinking about me and saying, “I remember this one guy named Mr. Raj. He was my speech teacher and he made learning so much fun!”

As a speech-language pathologist, I want to do everything in my power to excite the students on my caseload. I believe that excitement in the speech therapy room is crucial because without excitement, true learning cannot occur. Period.

So let me ask you a question . . .

Do you want to excite your speech therapy students? I mean REALLY excite them? Well, if your answer is yes (and I know that it is!), I have just the speech therapy idea for you.

Writing and mailing letters!

All speech therapy goals and objectives can be targeted through the terrific activity of writing and mailing letters to famous people or companies. And to prove it, I have spent the last year perfecting my latest online video workshop called Let’s Write Letters in Speech Therapy. I made this FREE workshop specifically for you so you can see how I introduce writing letters in my speech therapy room. It’s jam packed with detailed examples and instructions that walk you through how I incorporate all aspects of speech and language therapy into this idea. Trust me; I have never seen the students on my caseload THIS excited before.

Who have you guys written letters to?

My kiddos have written and mailed letters to the president of the United States of America, the prime minister of Canada, and even the CEO of their favorite pizza company. And guess what? After we send out the letters and wait a few weeks, we almost always receive a response back!

What is included in this workshop?

You get 7 free online videos (40 minutes total) that highlight examples of letters that have been written within my speech therapy setting. I also supply you with all the mailing addresses that we used so you and your students can start your letter writing party ASAP. It really doesn’t get any cooler than this. Like I said, from presidents to pizza companies, prepare to get excited (and inspired)!
